Job summary

Forge is seeking an experienced field inspector who will stand for electrical inspections of residential heat pump installations across Eastern Massachusetts. You will work in geographic blocks to inspect multiple sites daily, coordinating with the project team to align inspection timing and ensuring professional communication with inspectors, homeowners, and staff.

Ideal candidates hold an active MA electrical license, own a vehicle, and can commit to 2–3 fixed days weekly.

Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts electrical license (in good standing).
• Own vehicle and a valid driver’s license — reliability for scheduled inspection appointments is essential.
• Ability to work 2–3 standard fixed days per week for scheduling.
• Represent a company for inspections — professional, reliable, on time.

Responsibilities

• Stand for electrical inspections on Forge's residential heat pump installations across Eastern MA.
• Work in scheduled blocks, grouped by geographic area whenever possible, to inspect multiple sites per day.
• Coordinate with the project team to align timing with install schedules.
• Communicate respectfully and professionally with inspectors, homeowners, and the project coordination team.
• Assist in troubleshooting and determining appropriate next steps for inspection issues.
