Job summary

SAFEbuilt is seeking an Electrical Inspector to join our team of professionals delivering exceptional inspection services. The role focuses on field inspections for residential and commercial electrical construction to ensure NEC compliance and alignment with plans.

You will read electrical plans, document findings, and report violations with clear documentation. A NY Journeyman/Master Electrician license and valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of NEC and current construction practices.
• Ability to read plans and inspect for code compliance.
• Experience performing residential and commercial inspections.
• Strong communication with contractors and clients.

Responsibilities

• Perform field inspections during all phases of residential and commercial electrical construction.
• Read and examine electrical plans, specifications, and construction documents.
• Inspect installations for compliance with applicable electrical codes and approved plans.
• Report violations, prepare inspection reports, and maintain accurate records.
• Perform other related duties as required.
