Job summary

MyEyeDr. is seeking a Licensed Dispensing Optician to analyze prescriptions, measure and fit eyeglasses, and oversee all prescriptions in the office. You will guide patients through selections, explain insurance benefits, and ensure timely delivery with accuracy.

The role requires state licensing, 2–5 years of eyewear experience, and strong communication skills in a fast-paced retail/clinical setting. Competitive hourly pay and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• State-licensed dispensing optician with board certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by understanding and assisting patient needs.
• Guide patients in eyewear and frame selection using knowledge of product lines.
• Analyze and assess patients' vision needs and prescriptions.
• Maintain oversight on prescriptions throughout the office.
• Maximize sales with best/better/good options and promotions.
• Explain insurance benefits to patients clearly.
• Perform and verify eyewear fitting and measurements.
• Communicate delays in delivery and ensure timely completion.
