Job summary

Clark Nexsen, a JMT Company, seeks an Architect II to independently perform a full spectrum of architectural assignments from concept through construction. You will lead technical aspects on large projects, mentor staff, and ensure compliance with codes, sustainability, and client needs.

The role requires a licensed architect with 7+ years of design experience and strong Revit/Rhino/Enscape proficiency, plus BIM coordination across project types. Competitive compensation is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an NAAB accredited Architecture program.
• Minimum of 7+ years of architectural design experience.
• Professional Architect License.
• Advanced proficiency with BIM software (Revit, Rhino, Enscape) and Adobe CC.

Responsibilities

• Apply advanced technical design aspects to major projects with independent judgment.
• Prepare architectural drawings and construction documents per codes and standards.
• Develop drawings, models, and visualizations using BIM/graphics tools for deliverables.
• Review specifications to ensure alignment with documents and requirements.
• Write reports and project specifications; conduct code research and analysis.
• Prepare client presentations and lead meetings; communicate decisions clearly.
• Provide QA/QC on deliverables and mentor junior staff.
