Job summary

Clark Nexsen, A JMT Company, is seeking an Architect I to perform architectural assignments from concept through construction with minimal supervision. You will support projects of moderate size, apply architectural principles, and produce code-compliant design solutions.

Candidates should have NAAB-accredited education, 2–6 years of experience, and a professional license. Proficiency in Revit/SketchUp/AutoCAD plus BIM knowledge is essential. Some travel to project sites is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an NAAB accredited Architecture program.
• 2–6 years of architectural design experience.
• Professional Architect License required.
• Proficient with CAD/BIM software (Revit, SketchUp, AutoCAD).
• Knowledge of BIM across project types and building codes.

Responsibilities

• Apply architectural concepts and professional judgment to design solutions for moderate-size projects.
• Prepare drawings and construction documents per codes and standards.
• Develop drawings/models/visualizations using CAD/BIM and Adobe Creative Cloud.
• Review specifications and ensure alignment with documents and regulatory standards.
• Support project meetings and communicate technical information clearly.
• Assist with quality control and coordination to maintain design integrity.
