Job summary

Clark Nexsen, a JMT Company, seeks a Senior Architect to lead architectural design across all project phases for large, complex projects. You will act as the primary client contact, drive quality and consistency, mentor staff, and support business development while delivering innovative, well-coordinated designs.

The ideal candidate has 13+ years of progressive architectural practice, a NAAB-accredited degree, and a licensed architect credential with LEED AP.

Qualifications

Degree from NAAB-accredited program (B.Arch or M.Arch) is required.
Licensed Architect.
LEED AP or equivalent sustainability credential.
13+ years of progressive architectural practice, with leadership roles.
Experience as lead designer/architect on federal/state/municipal/healthcare/commercial/education projects.
Advanced proficiency in architectural modeling/visualization tools (Revit, Rhino, Bluebeam, Navisworks).
Strong knowledge of building codes, sustainability requirements, and construction practices.

Responsibilities

Lead architectural design across all project phases, setting technical approach and design intent.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate architectural solutions.
Ensure quality and constructability through QA/QC standards.
Troubleshoot complex issues and develop innovative design solutions.
Provide construction administration oversight including site visits and RFIs.
Travel to JMT locations and project sites as needed.
