Job summary

Clark Nexsen, a JMT Company, is seeking an Architectural Designer II to contribute to design development, documentation, and coordination on medium to large projects. You will apply architectural principles, work with project teams, and help develop quality drawings and models.

This role requires a NAAB-accredited degree and 6+ years of related experience, with proficiency in Revit, Rhino, Enscape, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Cloud. Occasional travel to project sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree from an NAAB accredited Architecture program.
• 6+ years of related architecture experience.
• Proficient with computer-assisted design and graphic software such as Revit, Rhino, Enscape, Adobe Creative Cloud, AutoCAD, Sketch-Up, etc.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Understanding of basic codes and sustainability requirements.
• Understanding of Building Programming and BIM.

Responsibilities

• Apply advanced architectural concepts and design methods to develop quality design solutions.
• Prepare architectural drawings and construction documentation per standards, codes, and sustainability requirements.
• Utilize software to develop drawings, models, and visualizations with limited guidance.
• Develop and coordinate architectural specifications to align with construction documents.
• Conduct code research to inform design decisions and coordination.
• Assist in client presentations and participate in internal/external meetings.
