You will provide individual and group counseling, develop treatment plans, and coordinate with community providers under supervision, ensuring regulatory compliance and adherence to program policies.

Requires a Master’s degree and current counseling credentials; licensure opportunities and supervision may be available at no cost upon approval.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or related field required.
• State licensure or credentialed status may be required for practice.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular alcohol and drug abuse counseling sessions and group sessions as required.
• Orient patients to treatment program operations and procedures.
• Collect and assess social, educational, economic, and vocational information.
• Develop and revise patient treatment plans, maintaining comprehensive records.
• Make appropriate referrals and perform necessary follow-ups.
• Coordinate care with community providers as needed.
• Attend conferences, meetings, and training programs.
• Comply with federal, state, local regulatory requirements.
• Participate in community and public relations activities.
