Job summary

Behavioral Health Group - BHG seeks a compassionate Counselor to conduct counseling sessions, develop treatment plans, and connect patients to resources on their recovery journey. The role emphasizes patient-centered care with a schedule of Monday–Friday from 6:00am to 2:30pm, offering a stable daytime shift and predictable hours.

Qualifications

• Must have state credentials: MAADC I-II, CADC, CRADC, LMSW or LPC.
• Experience in behavioral health and patient-centered care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build trusting relationships through individual and group counseling for people recovering from drug use and alcohol disorders.
• Guide new and returning patients through intake and orientation processes.
• Connect patients with community resources and help access needed support.
• Follow up on referrals and complete required follow-ups.
• Foster an inclusive environment with dignity, respect, and compassion for all patients.
• Comply with all federal, state, and local regulatory requirements.
