Tomball Regional Medical Center is seeking a Licensed Clinic Supervisor (MA/LPN Lead) to oversee clinic operations and patient care functions. You will lead clinical teams, establish policies, and ensure service quality while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant Program or a diploma from an accredited school of practical or vocational nursing.
• Minimum one year of experience in a medical office, acute care or clinical outpatient setting; supervisory experience preferred.
• Current and Active Medical Assistant certification or active LPN/LVN license; CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• May perform direct patient care duties.
• Establish, implement and monitor goals, policies, procedures and systems for assigned clinical areas.
• Develop and implement clinical plans with the medical staff.
• Select, train, orient and supervise departmental personnel; manage work assignments and daily operations.
• Evaluate performance and manage merit increases, promotions, and disciplinary actions.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and standards across clinical areas.

Job Summary And Qualifications

Seeking a Licensed Clinic Supervisor (MA/LPN Lead) who will manage practice functions related to the operations and quality of the clinic as assigned. Typically functions within a Level 2 or Level 3 Practice. What you will do in this role:

• May have direct patient care duties.
• Helps establish/implement goals, objectives, policies, procedures and systems for the assigned clinical areas.
• Participates in the development and implementation of clinical plans.
• Selects, trains/orients, and supervises departmental personnel. Responsible for work assignment and daily operations.
• Evaluates performance and recommends merit increases, promotions, and disciplinary actions.
• Resolves problems in clinical areas and ensures compliance with regulations and standards.
• Helps fiscal management and other administrative staff to develop/implement cost effective policies and procedures for all clinical areas, as well as billing, insurance, fee schedules, credit/collections, purchasing, and space planning.
• Monitors and controls clinical expenditures to remain within budget.
• Serves as liaison between clinic and external agencies.
• Works with medical staff to ensure quality patient care and services are provided
• Participates in professional development activities to keep current with health care trends and practices
• Maintains strictest confidentiality.
• Performs related work as required.
• Practice and adhere to the “Code of Conduct” philosophy and “Mission and Value Statement”.

Qualifications you will need:

EDUCATION:

• Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant Program or a degree or diploma from an accredited school of practical or vocation nursing is required.

EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum of one year of experience in a medical office, acute care or clinical outpatient setting is required. Previous supervisory experience in a clinical setting is preferred.

CERTIFICATION/LICENSE:

• Current and Active Medical Assistant certification (Acceptable certifications are RMA, CCMA, CMA, NCMA, NRCMA certification, or ABR-OE credentials) or active LPN or LVN license is required. CPR Certification required.
