Job summary

Carle Health seeks a Licensed Behavioral Health Professional to provide assessment, intervention and consultation for individuals and groups with behavioral health needs under supervision. You will plan treatment, coordinate with care teams, and offer crisis evaluation as required.

The LBHP role requires licensure such as LCPC, LCSW, LMFT, or psychologist, plus a Master’s in social work, psychology, counseling, or related field and at least two years of behavioral health experience.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling or related field.
• Licensure as LCPC, LCSW, LMFT or Licensed Psychologist.
• Minimum two years behavioral health experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic assessments and determines immediate treatment plan needs with patients.
• Develops and completes treatment plans with patient goals and objectives.
• Provides behavioral health therapy to individuals, families and groups.
• Coordinates with crisis services when danger to self or others is present.
• Maintains records per policy and regulatory standards.
• Acts as liaison between community agencies, primary care, court systems and managed-care entities.
• May supervise clinicians or students and contribute to training.
