Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Licensed Behavioral Health Professional (LBHP) to deliver assessment, intervention and consultation for individuals and groups with behavioral health needs. The role includes crisis evaluation, treatment planning and coordination with community and care teams.

The LBHP will document care per regulations, maintain records, and may supervise students or clinicians. Strong IL licensing and related master’s degree credentials are required.

Qualifications

• Licenses required for practice in Illinois per IDFPR
• Master’s level credentials in social work, psychology or counseling
• Experience in behavioral health settings is expected

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic assessments, collects diagnostic information, and determines immediate treatment plan needs with patients.
• Completes treatment plan with patient goals/objectives based on assessment.
• Provides behavioral health therapy to individuals, families or groups.
• Coordinates with Emergency Response Service and crisis teams for dangerous cases.
• Maintains records per policies and applicable regulations.
• Acts as liaison between community and patient needs; coordinates goals with agencies and care teams.
• Meets clinical productivity standards and documentation compliance.
• May supervise clinicians or students and participate in training.
• Prepares special reports on activities and group work.
