Job summary

Hair Cuttery is seeking an Assistant Salon Manager to serve as the right hand to the Salon Leader. You’ll stay behind the chair while mentoring stylists, guiding guest journeys, and keeping the salon energized and productive.

This full‑time leadership role in North Carolina requires a Cosmetology license, stamina for long shifts, strong communication, inventory/cash handling, and a passion for training new talent. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, and PTO.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Cosmetology license for the state applying in.
• Full-time leadership role (minimum 40 hours/week).
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform all salon services with precision.
• Strong communication skills, plus basic math for inventory and cash handling.
• Bring personal equipment daily and be ready to rock your skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the floor and oversee daily operations (appointments, guest experience).
• Coach and mentor team using IGROW model to reach goals.
• Ensure cleanliness and compliance with State Board and OSHA standards.
• Support marketing efforts and local partnerships to keep chairs full.
