Job summary

Hair Cuttery is seeking an Assistant Salon Manager to be the right hand to the Salon Leader, guiding daily operations and helping the team grow behind the chair. This full-time leadership role blends hands-on styling with people management and business tasks.

You’ll mentor staff, maintain safety and cleanliness standards, and contribute to local marketing efforts to keep the salon busy and profitable.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Cosmetology license for the applying state
• Full-time leadership role (minimum 40 hours per week)
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and perform all salon services
• Great attitude, with solid communication and basic math skills for inventory and cash handling

Responsibilities

• Lead the Floor: manage daily operations and appointment book to ensure guests leave satisfied
• Coach & Mentor: use leadership principles to help stylists reach goals and grow their careers
• Keep it Clean & Compliant: ensure state board and OSHA standards are met
• Marketing Pro: assist with local partnerships and digital campaigns to keep chairs full and brand buzzing
