Glenkirk in Northbrook, IL seeks a licensed art or dance/movement therapist to provide individual and group therapy for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You will advocate for clients and collaborate with staff to implement treatment plans.

Master's degree required; licensure essential. The role includes crisis intervention, care coordination, and participation in supervision and discovery meetings. Experience with Medicaid/BHC systems is a plus.

Formación

• Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology from an accredited university.
• Licensure as a licensed art or dance/movement therapist.
• Experience with therapy for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide individual and/or group therapy to individuals with IDD; offer crisis intervention when needed.
• Complete required clinical paperwork and billing per governing entities.
• Attend annual Discovery meetings and contribute input for IS development.
• Support individuals and staff on assigned caseload regarding issues.
• Facilitate access to community resources including family services and case management.
• Attend weekly clinical supervision.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
