Job summary

Connectly Recruiting in New York, NY is seeking a Junior Graphic Designer to support licensed sleepwear, loungewear, and intimate apparel development. You will contribute to product concepts and graphics for brands with entertainment properties, working with Adobe Illustrator and collaborating across design, merchandising, and production teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fashion Design, Illustration, or related.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator; familiarity with Adobe Photoshop.
• Strong visual design abilities, creativity and attention to detail.
• Interest in licensed merchandise and apparel product development.
• Ability to prioritize multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
• Effective communication and cross-team collaboration.
• Eagerness to learn about garment construction and manufacturing.
• Experience preparing tech packs or working with manufacturers is beneficial.
• Packaging design experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Artwork & Graphic Development: design original graphics, prints and patterns for licensed apparel.
• Technical Documentation: prepare tech packs detailing artwork placement, color variations, measurements and materials.
• Product Design & Development: move products from concepts through final production with teams.
• Sample Evaluation: inspect samples for accuracy and provide feedback for adjustments.
• Team & Vendor Coordination: coordinate with merchandising, production and overseas partners.
• File & Specification Management: keep files, tech packs and specs organized.
• Packaging Support: assist in creating packaging graphics and related documentation.
