The Recruiting Hive is seeking a Junior Graphic Designer to support the development of licensed sleepwear, loungewear, and intimate apparel in New York. You will contribute visuals for products tied to entertainment properties and collaborate across design and merchandising teams.

The ideal candidate has strong Adobe Illustrator skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for licensed merchandise. Experience with packaging, tech packs, and apparel manufacturing is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fashion Design, Illustration, or related discipline.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator is required; familiarity with Adobe Photoshop is a plus.
• Strong visual design abilities, creativity, and attention to detail.
• Interest in licensed merchandise and apparel product development.
• Ability to prioritize multiple assignments, meet deadlines, and maintain organization in a fast-paced setting.
• Effective communication and cross-team collaboration.

Responsabilités

• Artwork & Graphic Development: Design original graphics, prints, patterns for licensed apparel and reflect licensing requirements and trends.
• Technical Documentation: Prepare apparel tech packs detailing artwork placement, color variations, measurements, materials, and construction requirements.
• Product Design & Development: Partner with design and merchandising teams to move products from concepts to production.
• Sample Evaluation: Inspect samples for graphic accuracy, color matching, artwork positioning, and compliance with design specs.
• Team & Vendor Coordination: Collaborate with merchandising, production, and overseas manufacturers to ensure design alignment.
• File & Specification Management: Keep artwork files, tech packs, and specs organized for development and repeat production.
• Packaging Support: Assist in creating packaging graphics and packaging-related documentation.
