Job summary

Acloché LLC in New York, NY is seeking a Junior Graphic Designer to support licensed apparel development. The role focuses on creating graphics for sleepwear, loungewear, and intimate apparel, with exposure to branding, fit, and production considerations.

You will work with design and merchandising teams, prepare art files and tech packs, coordinate with vendors, and help ensure accurate manufacturing and packaging.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fashion Design, Illustration, or related discipline.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator is required; familiarity with Adobe Photoshop is a plus.
• Strong visual design abilities, creativity, and attention to detail.
• Interest in licensed merchandise and apparel product development.
• Ability to prioritize multiple assignments and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
• Effective communication and collaboration across teams.
• Willingness to learn about garment construction and apparel manufacturing.
• Experience with tech packs or apparel manufacturers is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Artwork & Graphic Development: Design original graphics for licensed apparel and reflect licensing requirements.
• Technical Documentation: Prepare and maintain tech packs detailing artwork placement, colors, measurements, and materials.
• Product Design & Development: Partner with design and merchandising to move products to production.
• Sample Evaluation: Inspect samples for accuracy and provide feedback for adjustments.
• Team & Vendor Coordination: Work with merchandising, production, and overseas manufacturers.
• File & Specification Management: Keep artwork files and specs organized for ongoing development.
• Packaging Support: Assist in creating packaging graphics and related documentation.
