Job summary

Job Juncture seeks a Junior Graphic Designer to support licensed sleepwear, loungewear, and intimate apparel. You’ll develop original graphics for licensed products and create detailed tech packs for production in New York, NY.

The ideal candidate has strong Illustrator skills, a keen eye for detail, and an interest in garment specifications, technical design, and manufacturing processes. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fashion Design, Illustration, or related discipline.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator is required; familiarity with Adobe Photoshop is a plus.
• Strong visual design abilities, creativity, and attention to detail.
• Interest in licensed merchandise and apparel product development.
• Ability to prioritize multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
• Effective communication and cross-team collaboration.
• Willingness to learn garment construction and manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Artwork & Graphic Development: design original graphics for licensed apparel reflecting brand standards.
• Technical Documentation: prepare tech packs detailing artwork placement, color variations, measurements, materials, and garment construction requirements.
• Product Design & Development: collaborate with design and merchandising teams to move concepts to production.
• Sample Evaluation: inspect samples for graphic accuracy, color matching, artwork positioning, and compliance with design specs.
• Team & Vendor Coordination: work with merchandising, production, and overseas manufacturing partners to ensure products are developed and produced per approved designs.
• File & Specification Management: keep artwork files, tech packs, product specs, and notes organized for ongoing development.
• Packaging Support: assist in creating packaging graphics and preparing packaging-related documentation.
