Job summary

Ethos is seeking an entry-level Annuity SDR to qualify leads and schedule appointments for our licensed Annuity Sales Reps. You will speak knowledgeably about annuity basics while maintaining compliance and focusing on qualification, not closing.

Licensed candidates will build product knowledge, phone skills, and a track record to move into a full-time Annuity Sales Rep role, with growth opportunities in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment in the US.

Qualifications

• Active state life insurance license required at time of hire.
• 1 year of sales or telesales experience (entry-level).
• Strong verbal communication and ability to discuss financial products.
• Based in the US with state-licensing compliance.

Responsibilities

• Qualify inbound/outbound leads and set appointments for licensed Annuity Sales Representatives.
• Conduct discovery to understand a prospect's financial situation, goals, and timeline.
• Provide light, licensed-appropriate education on annuities and Ethos' offerings.
• Set qualified appointments for licensed Annuity Sales Representatives and hand off with context.
• Manage and prioritize a pipeline of leads through Salesforce and other CRMs.
• Maintain accurate licensing, disclosures, and compliance touchpoints on every call.
• Partner with the Annuity Sales team to refine qualification criteria and improve show/close rates.
• Hit monthly/quarterly targets for qualified appointments set.
• Build toward eligibility for promotion into a full-time Annuity Sales Representative role.
