Job summary

San Felipe Pueblo Education Department is seeking a part-time Tutor & Homework Helper to assist students visiting the library with homework and to implement literacy and math programs. This role supports after-school, weekend and summer activities aimed at engaging students in learning.

Responsibilities include helping with homework, delivering reading and math activities, assisting staff, planning and supervising events, and submitting timesheets to ensure accurate pay.

Qualifications

• Ability to work with students and others in a kind manner.
• Manual dexterity to enter and retrieve data from a computer; sit/stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist all students with homework.
• Implement reading and math program for additional learning based on student level.
• Provide friendly and professional assistance to all students.
• Help plan, coordinate, and supervise activities and events to engage students in Activity Programming.
• Assist with students during rotations to ensure engagement and participation.
• Assist with Library needs when available.
• Assist with activities for students and adults when they visit the Library.
• Assist as needed with Education Director and all other Education Department staff.
• Submit timesheets to ensure pay for hours worked.
