Job summary

Grantsville City Library seeks a part-time Library Technician I to assist patrons with circulation, reference, and technology needs. You will help maintain collections, support programs, and ensure a welcoming, organized library environment.

The position reports to the Library Director and does not qualify for benefits. The role requires attention to detail, strong customer service, and the ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience with library operations, including circulation, reference services, and basic technology.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to assist patrons of all ages.

Responsibilities

• Greet patrons and provide courteous assistance with library services.
• Check materials in/out and manage overdue items.
• Assist patrons with locating materials and using computers and catalogs.
• Support programs, outreach, and publicity efforts.
• Maintain records for circulation and programs.
