The schedule is 11:30 am–8 pm, Monday–Friday, with a hybrid work mode at Lauinger Library.

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• 1 year related experience in libraries or information services.
• Familiarity with academic libraries meeting information needs.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong public service orientation.
• Computer literate; ability to learn new software.
• Familiarity with Windows OS and MS Office (Word, Excel).
• Familiarity with Google Apps (Gmail, Calendar, Drive).
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and push carts over 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Support in Resource Sharing Unit by processing ILL and CLS materials.
• Pull and shelve library materials requested through ILL/CLS.
• Assist in supervising student employees during shifts at Service Desks.
• Coordinate with other Access Services units as needed.
