Job summary

Lane Library, Stanford Medicine, seeks a Resource Sharing Librarian (Librarian 2) to manage interlibrary loan, document delivery, and access services for faculty, students, and researchers. The role reports to the Manager of Access Services and coordinates the ILL/Document Delivery team.

Based on the Stanford campus with a hybrid option (2-3 days on-site), you will supervise operations, coordinate remote storage shipments, and help develop sustainable services that meet user needs.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Library Science or related field with relevant experience.
• Two or more years in resource sharing and access services including ILL.
• Strong supervisory and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily Resource Sharing Services operations and reporting.
• Lead ILL/Document Delivery team and coordinate with staff on system upgrades.
• Manage remote storage transfers and ensure preservation and accessibility of materials.
• Serve as liaison to assigned subject areas and provide reference support.
• Teach and conduct library instruction and tours as needed.
