Job summary

California State University, Fresno is seeking a Temporary Library Teacher Resource Center Specialist to support the Teacher Resource Center, serving Fresno State students, faculty, staff, and community members. You will provide service at the TRC desk, assist with collections, and help create library guides and resource materials.

The role includes coordinating programs, displays, and reading lists, with opportunities to engage in cataloging and outreach.

Qualifications

• Completion of a high school education or equivalent certification.
• Two years of related library and/or administrative support experience or an equivalent combination of experience and education.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service at the TRC desk in person, by phone and email.
• Maintain TRC stacks and shelve materials.
• Prepare displays, exhibits, and reading lists to market the TRC collection.
• Participate in the collection development process including deselection and purchase suggestions.
• Create LibGuides and other educational materials for TRC.
• Coordinate, plan, and staff programming and events.
• Create content, book lists, and event descriptions for the website.
