Job summary

Gwinnett County Public Library's Duluth Branch seeks a part-time Library Associate to assist customers with information, technology, and reader's advisory services, and to help locate library materials.

You will support daily branch operations, conduct tours and community presentations, and contribute to programming and outreach efforts while maintaining materials and training requirements.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred; some college credit accepted.
• 1 year of related customer service experience.
• Or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist library customers with information, technology and reader's advisory needs and locating materials using library systems and the web.
• Support daily branch operations including resolving inquiries, balancing fees and cash funds, and collection management.
