Job summary

ADP, Inc. in Buford, GA is seeking a part-time Library Associate to support customer service, information access and reader guidance. You will help patrons locate materials using library systems, the internet and other search methods while assisting with technology use and program activities.

You will also contribute to daily branch operations, assist with programming and outreach events, manage supplies, and provide passport services at designated locations when needed.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree preferred; some college credit accepted.
• One year of related customer service experience or equivalent.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and assist diverse patrons.

Responsibilities

• Assist library customers with information, technology and readers advisory needs.
• Help locate materials using library systems, the internet and search methods.
• Support daily branch operations, resolve inquiries, balance fees and cash funds.
• Coordinate tours and community outreach, lead branch programming and outreach events.
• Maintain supplies and participate in shelving, materials handling and training.
• Assist with passport services where designated, including processing and payments.
