Palatine Library District is seeking a full-time Facilities Manager to oversee all aspects of the Facilities Department, including operations, personnel, materials, contacts, security, and budget. The role involves strategic planning and policy development as part of the library's management team.

The Facilities Manager will supervise the facilities staff, maintain and improve safety and quality of service, and ensure operations support the librarys mission and values.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree or equivalent required.

Responsabilités

• Plans, directs, coordinates, and reviews the work of the Facilities Department, including maintenance and security staff.
• Establishes, maintains, and improves written procedures and processes to promote efficiency, consistency, safety, and quality service.
• Demonstrates organization and resourcefulness in managing multiple priorities, personnel, projects, and operational needs.
• Manages, evaluates, and maintains Library facilities and related systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, elevators, roofing, life-safety systems, vehicles, grounds, and other building equipment.
