Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and six months of library, customer service, or office experience.
• One year of library and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Familiarity with office computers and basic library systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, high-quality service to patrons in person, by phone, and via email.
• Perform circulation transactions: checkouts, returns, renewals, holds and updates.
• Assist with room reservations and basic equipment support in technology-enhanced spaces.
• Sort, shelve, and maintain library materials; ensure accurate organization.
• Explain circulation policies and protect patron privacy and account information.
• Collaborate with staff to ensure smooth daily operations and follow established procedures.
