Job summary

The Brotherhood Sister Sol seeks a dedicated Liberation Program (LP) Coordinator & Lead Organizer to guide the Liberation Program and support youth leaders as social justice organizers. You will coach staff, foster positive team dynamics, and drive campaigns with partner organizations, while aligning with the organization’s programmatic vision.

With extensive youth development experience, you will train members to co‑facilitate workshops, coordinate organizing campaigns, and build coalitions.

Qualifications

• 4+ year commitment to BroSis
• 10+ years of youth development and organizing experience
• 4+ years of managing people
• Experience creating dynamic programming and curricula
• Experience in citywide organizing efforts
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Knowledge of education justice and social movements

Responsibilities

• Develop program plans, budgets and objectives with Directors
• Lead staff to achieve program goals
• Identify challenges and coordinate resolutions
• Coach and develop Liberation staff
• Plan programs from recruitment to graduation, including retreats and college trips
• Expand programming curriculum and support team development
• Monitor staff performance and provide targeted improvements
• Ensure policy compliance across programs
• Collaborate to calendar and integrate programs
• Review evaluations and reports for progress and future planning
• Ensure timely completion of deliverables by staff
• Support youth leadership development and campaigns
• Co-facilitate weekly youth sessions and staff meetings
• Build and maintain coalition relationships
• Engage youth and community in campaign work
