Job summary

AvonRisk is seeking an experienced liability adjuster for an in-house desk role in the Arlington, TX area. The ideal candidate will manage auto, bodily injury, property damage and general liability files from investigation through settlement, with a strong focus on subrogation and recovery.

The position requires a Texas Adjuster License and at least five years of claims experience; a bachelor’s degree is preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Texas Adjuster License is required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required; work experience will be considered.
• Minimum of five years of experience in adjusting auto and general liability claims.
• Strong negotiation and subrogation/recovery abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and process Auto, Bodily Injury, Property Damage and General Liability Claims.
• Consult police and hospital records, examine photographs and statements, and take recorded statements as needed to render a sound liability position.
• Evaluate bodily injury demands and negotiate to settlement.
• Evaluate and calculate automobile total loss settlements and diminution of value claims.
• Evaluate and calculate non-vehicle property damage supports and create subrogation demands to seek subrogation recovery.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and organized diary management for all assigned files.
• Strong experience with subrogation claims and activities associated with subrogation recovery and proactive file handling.
