Job summary

AvonRisk in the United States seeks an experienced Adjuster III to investigate, evaluate, and adjust medium to complex general liability and property damage claims. You will work on litigated and non-litigated files, collaborating with clients and experts to ensure accurate reporting.

Ideal candidates hold a four-year degree, 5+ years in insurance claims, strong MS Office and CMIS skills, and excellent written and verbal communication. Travel for hearings may be required.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree preferred.
• At least five years’ experience with insurance claims, self-insurance, or JPAs.
• Three years using Windows apps including Word, Excel, Outlook (PowerPoint not required).
• Two years using streaming video conferencing (Teams/Zoom) with ability to host groups.
• Two years using claims management software.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, analyze, and determine liability in claims.
• Interview clients, medical staff, witnesses, and claimants to gather information.
• Prepare timely reports for clients and maintain CMIS records.
• Support litigation by collecting evidence and coordinating with defense counsel.
• Adjust reserves and advise on appropriate claim actions.
