Job summary

GoAuto is seeking a Casualty Claims Adjuster in Irving, TX. The role handles bodily injury claims, obtaining statements, assessing damages, and communicating procedures to involved parties. A license in Auto Adjuster or Property & Casualty is required, with a preference for a Bachelor's degree.

This full-time exempt position offers hybrid work after training. You will manage high volumes, coordinate with attorneys, and ensure accurate settlements while meeting reporting requirements and company

Qualifications

• Three or more years of experience in an insurance claim environment, preferably personal lines automobile.
• Successful experience as a Casualty Claim Adjuster or similar position.
• License/Certification: Auto Adjuster License/Property and Casualty License (Required)
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Address unrepresented and represented bodily injury claims.
• Obtain recorded statements to establish liability and verify coverage.
• Determine appropriate extent of damages.
• Communicate claims procedures verbally and in writing.
• Review injury documentation for accuracy and settlements.
• Engage attorneys and unrepresented parties to resolve claims fairly.
• Comply with reporting requirements (ISO, CMS).
• Apply comparative negligence to minimize paid severity.
• Document activities in claims notes and issue payments.
