Job summary

Sedgwick in Eden Prairie, MN seeks a Claims Team Lead - Liability to supervise multiple teams of examiners and technical staff, monitor workloads, provide training, and ensure high-quality adjudication across liability claims.

You will oversee performance, coordinate with clients, and ensure compliance with licensing requirements, audit standards, and company policies while driving process improvements and mentoring staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; professional certifications as applicable.
• Six years of claims experience with at least two years in supervision.
• Licenses in applicable jurisdictions as required.

Responsibilities

• Supervises multiple teams of examiners and technical staff for liability claims.
• Monitors workloads and provides training; maintains diaries on complex high-exposure claims.
• Provides technical direction on examiner reports and claim adjudication.
• Performs quality reviews to meet audit and contract requirements.
• Acts as second level of appeal for client/claimant issues and writes final dispositions.
• Ensures licensing compliance and maintains client communications.
