Sedgwick Claims Management Services Ltd is seeking an experienced Liability Claims Adjuster for the Marlton, NJ area. The role supports a hybrid work schedule with potential remote options depending on commute.

You will adjudicate general liability claims, determine benefits, and negotiate settlements within established authority and client contracts. Ideal candidates have 4 years of claims management experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a preferred bachelor's degree.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
• Professional certification as applicable to line of business preferred.
• 4 years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• East Coast - NJ, PA & FL knowledge.
• Licensing: Home state preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze mid- and higher-level general liability claims to determine benefits due.
• Determine liability exposure and reserves.
• Approve and process assigned claims, determine benefits due, and manage action plan.
• Manage subrogation of claims and negotiate settlements.
• Communicate claim actions with claimants and clients.
• Ensure claim files are properly documented and claims coding is correct.
• May process complex lifetime medical and/or defined period medical claims.
• Maintain professional client relationships.
