Job summary

Sedgwick is hiring a Liability Claims Adjuster with Bodily Injury experience for the East Coast. The role offers a hybrid Marlton, NJ option, including 2 in-office days, with remote possibilities for others.

You’ll analyze general liability claims, determine benefits, and negotiate settlements while maintaining client relationships. Ideal candidates have 4+ years of claims experience, NJ/PA/FL jurisdiction knowledge, and a preference for licensing in-home state.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Professional certification as applicable to line of business preferred.
• 4 years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• East Coast jurisdiction knowledge: NJ, PA & FL.
• Home state licensing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages mid-level general liability claims by gathering information to determine liability exposure and reserving appropriately.
• Assesses liability and resolves claims within evaluation and company standards.
• Reviews and approves processed claims, determines benefits due, and manages action plans.
• Manages subrogation and negotiates settlements.
• Maintains client communications and ensures proper documentation in files.
