Job summary

Sedgwick in Marlton, NJ offers a hybrid role as a Liability Claims Representative supporting PD/1st party auto and dedicated clients on the East Coast. You will process low- to mid-level claims, determine benefits due, and coordinate with clients to resolve settlements under supervision.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma (bachelor's preferred), about 2 years of claims management experience, and NJ/PA/FL knowledge.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
• Professional certification as applicable to line of business preferred.

Responsibilities

• Processes low level PD and 1st party auto liability claims to determine benefits due; adjudicates claims within company standards; identifies subrogation and negotiates settlements under supervision.
• Unclear types of claims; communicates with claimants and clients; ensures proper documentation and coding of claims.
• May process low-level lifetime medical and/or defined period medical claims including state and physician filings and decisions on treatments recommended by utilization review.
