Job summary

The role requires leadership experience in claims, strong communication, and willingness to travel for catastrophe-related assignments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and six years of claims related experience required; or
• Associate degree and four years of claims related experience required; or
• Bachelor’s degree and two years of claims related experience required.
• Experience using estimating software preferred; leadership experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, trains, and monitors the activities of assigned claims adjusters and other claims personnel.
• Reviews claims regularly for coverage and reserves; provides counsel on further action.
• Coordinates with Claims Manager on procedures and outcomes.
• Handles claim complaints and inquiries; may act on manager’s behalf.
• Commits to travel as part of Catastrophe Team duties.
