Job summary

Erie Insurance is seeking a Claims Leader to supervise and mentor the claims team across Silver Spring, Hagerstown, or Richmond offices. You will oversee adjusters, ensure policy coverage accuracy, and drive corrective actions with the Claims Leadership group.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and six years of claims related experience required; or
• Associate degree and four years of claims related experience required; or
• Bachelor's degree and two years of claims related experience required.

Responsibilities

• Manages operations of designated area; interviews, hires, trains, directs personnel.
• Reviews claims and reserves; advises on coverage and action.
• Resolves questions within authority; conducts research as needed.
• Contributes to procedures by making recommendations with the Claims Manager.
• May travel for Catastrophe Team assignments; may require short-notice travel.
