Job summary

EDUCATIONAL SERVICE DIST 112 in Vancouver, WA is seeking a Technology Support Technician to provide Level 2 troubleshooting and IT support for district programs. You will help design and configure endpoint devices, systems, and reporting, and act as backup to the Technology Support Assistant.

The role requires regular attendance and is full-time year round, with occasional travel to school districts within Southwest Washington.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED with two years of post-high school training or equivalent experience.
Experience with Windows, MS Office, antivirus, backup, and diagnostic applications.
Experience supporting Microsoft Office 365 and Google Workspaces.
Ability to learn unfamiliar technology quickly.

Responsibilities

Provide Level 1 and 2 troubleshooting and tech support for OS, software, AV, hardware, and network.
Deploy updated devices and maintain documentation for staff on setup and functionality.
Collaborate with IT staff to troubleshoot offline systems and resolve issues.
Use remote support software to perform installations/updates/patches and monitor for malware.
Serve as backup for the Technology Support Assistant and assist with logistics.
Travel to school districts to support computer systems and network infrastructure.
