Job summary

Centurion Health in Bowling Green, MO is seeking a Full-Time Medication Aide Level 1 at Northeast Correctional Center. Under supervision, you will administer medications as prescribed and document effectiveness and any side effects during day shifts from 7am to 7pm. A high school diploma or GED is required.

DHSS/DMH Level 1 certification is preferred, as is insulin certification. Active CPR/AED and TB documentation are required, with ongoing training every two years.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Level 1 Medication Aide certification from MO DHSS/DMH preferred.
• Insulin certification preferred.
• CPR/AED certification active.
• Must pass background investigation and obtain security clearance where applicable.
• TB documentation current.
• Complete required continuing education (4 hours every 2 years).
• If not certified, must complete internal Level 1 medication aide and insulin training.

Pay Ranges from $20.00 -$23.00 per hour + shift diff, depending on years of experience!Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Missouri Department of Corrections. We are currently seeking a Full-Time Medication Aide Level 1 to join our team at Northeast Correctional Center located in Bowling Green, Missouri.The Medication Aide Level 1 (MO) Under the direction of the facility Director of Nursing / nursing designee, administers medications as prescribed; and documents the medication effectiveness and any noted adverse actions or side effects.Full Time-Day shift, 7am -7pm EOWHigh school diploma or GED required.Preferred to have current active Level 1 Medication Aide certification from the Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS) or the Department of Mental Health (DMH) which may also be referred to as DD Medication Aide (mo.tmutest.com).Insulin certification preferred.Must complete required continuing education to maintain certification (minimum of four (4) hours of medication administration training every two (2) years). Required training will be documented and maintained in Employee File.
