Job summary

Cedarhurst Senior Living is seeking a Level One Medication Aide (L1MA) to administer medications and provide direct resident care under the Director of Nursing. You will support activities of daily living, document care, and observe residents for condition changes while maintaining a safe, person-centered environment.

The role requires a state-approved Medication Aide/Technician certification; insulin, CPR/BLS certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• State-approved Medication Aide/Technician certification.
• Insulin certification preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification preferred.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care including medication distribution per individualized plan.
• Observe residents and report changes to physicians and supervisors with timely interventions.
• Document observations, red flags, and daily MAR documentation accurately.
• Pass information to the next shift and ensure timely documentation by aides.
• Administer medications using the five rights and monitor vital signs.
