Job summary

Legacyar in the United States (Arkansas) seeks a loan professional responsible for interviewing loan applicants, underwriting commercial requests, and preparing materials for approval to lending committees. This role also services all loans and drives growth through proactive business development.

The candidate will maintain past due and technical exception metrics, work with loan portfolios up to $25MM, and participate in staff meetings and committee reviews as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related area is required or four years banking experience in lieu of degree.
• Minimum of 4 years banking experience or a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related area.
• Interviews and underwrites consumer and small business loan applicants.

Responsibilities

• Interview consumer and small business loan applicants to originate loans.
• Underwrite commercial loan requests and prepare material for loan approvals.
• Service loans originated and assigned, maintain past due and technical exception percentages, and support loan growth goals.
• Seek additional loan opportunities through calling and business development.
• Present loans at Lending Staff meetings and loan committees as needed.
