Job summary

Knock is seeking a senior leader to manage the remote Loan Assistant team and drive performance across mortgage operations. You will define goals, balance workloads, and coordinate with Sales, Underwriting, and Closing to ensure timely, accurate service.

The role emphasizes process improvement and published procedures under the Director of Lending Operations. Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in mortgage work, with at least 5 years leading a fully remote team and deep knowledge of mortgage

Qualifications

• 10+ years in mortgage experience with 5+ years managing a remote team.
• Experience leading mortgage loan processing and post-closing teams.
• Working knowledge of federal, state and local mortgage regulations.

• Share weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual team and company goals.
• Hold team members accountable for their performance.
• Manage the bridge loan pipeline from setup through initial disclosure and submission, and through post-closing.
• Balance workloads across the team to meet company SLAs.
• Work closely with Sales, Underwriting, and Closing to give everyone timely, accurate service.
• Find gaps in process and policy and write or update procedures for training and rollout.
• Set best practices and change the workflow when needed.

• Experience managing mortgage loan processing and/or post-closing teams.
• Working knowledge of federal, state, and local mortgage regulatory compliance.
