Job summary

UFCU seeks a Manager, Lending Compliance to lead compliance and quality control professionals in supporting adherence to laws, regulations, and internal standards through an evolving compliance program. You will translate regulatory changes into updates across products, services, policies, and processes, and guide change with minimal disruption.

You will partner with business leaders to manage risk, provide strategic guidance, and ensure responsible service to members across Texas and beyond

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree; 4 years experience may substitute.
• 5+ years compliance experience in financial services with mortgage or consumer lending focus.
• 3+ years of supervisory/leadership experience.
• Advanced knowledge of regulatory compliance principles.
• Must be bondable.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop compliance and quality control staff.
• Oversee monitoring, testing, reporting, and issue management to support the program.
• Coordinate examinations, audits, and remediation of findings.
• Build cross-functional relationships to drive risk-based decisions.
• Review member communications for compliance with requirements.
