Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• Annual mandatory Bank Secrecy Act, OFAC and Red Flag Identity Theft training.
• 3-5 years member service and/or lending experience.
• At least 1 year general sales/solicitation experience.

Responsibilities

• Interviews and interacts with members regarding Credit Union loan products and services; uncovers member needs and provides lending solutions.
• Maintains a sales-oriented approach to member interactions to provide best lending solutions.
• Explains terms and conditions of consumer loan products and verifies disclosures.
• Originates loan applications via phone and internet; submits to underwriting for final approval.
• Offers ancillary products to eligible members and meets sales metrics.
• Performs outbound calls to solicit loan products and services.
• Maintains knowledge of credit reports and underwriting standards to assist applicants.
• Ensures adherence to performance metrics and compliance guidelines.
• Coordinates with lending partners to ensure closings and resolve issues.
• Participates in achieving departmental goals and maintains product knowledge.
• Maintains security over member information and transactional activity.
