Qualifications

• Paralegal certification or equivalent experience required.
• Proven paralegal experience with lemon law or related civil litigation.
• Strong knowledge of procedural law and civil litigation support.
• Familiarity with PCLaw, iManage, Westlaw, LexisNexis, and document review platforms.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple cases.
• Proficiency in Word and Excel for drafting and data management.
• Effective interviewing, written and verbal communication.
• Experience handling confidential information discreetly.
• Knowledge of related legal areas is a plus.
• Demonstrated legal research and synthesis skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys with case preparation, including drafting documents and pleadings for lemon law claims.
• Conduct legal research on statutes, regulations, and case law related to lemon law and civil litigation.
• Manage case files using iManage, PCLaw, and other systems, keeping records organized.
• Interview clients and witnesses to gather information for case development.
• Review vehicle repair records, warranty docs, and evidence supporting lemon law claims.
• Coordinate case status updates with clients and ensure confidentiality.
• Support litigation processes including discovery and court preparation.
• Utilize LexisNexis/Westlaw for case strategies.
• Handle administrative tasks: data entry, filing, scheduling, deadlines.
• Collaborate on project management to improve workflows and efficiency.
• Maintain professionalism in handling sensitive information.
