Viper Staffing Services L.L.C. is seeking a Lemon Law (Litigation) Paralegal to support attorneys with case preparation, research, and client coordination. This role can be remote or onsite and offers a hourly pay range with benefits.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in lemon law or related civil litigation, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in legal software and MS Office. Experience handling confidential information is essential.

Qualifications

Paralegal certification or equivalent experience in a legal support role specializing in consumer protection or automotive law.
Proven paralegal experience with a focus on lemon law or related civil litigation areas.
Strong knowledge of procedural law, civil litigation support, and legal research methodologies.
Familiarity with legal software such as PCLaw, iManage, Westlaw, LexisNexis, and document review platforms.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) for document drafting and data management.
Effective interviewing skills coupled with strong written and verbal communication abilities.
Experience handling confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Knowledge of additional legal areas such as estate planning, environmental law, UCC law, landlord-tenant law, family law, securities law, tribal regulations, patent law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, immigration law, land use regulations or general & commercial litigation is considered a plus.
Demonstrated research skills with the ability to synthesize complex legal information clearly.

Responsibilities

Assist attorneys with case preparation, including drafting legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence related to lemon law claims.
Conduct detailed legal research on applicable statutes, regulations, and case law pertinent to lemon law and other relevant legal fields.
Manage case files using document management systems such as iManage and PCLaw, ensuring all records are accurate, organized, and up-to-date.
Interview clients and witnesses to gather factual information necessary for case development.
Review and analyze vehicle repair records, warranty documentation, and other evidence to support lemon law claims.
Coordinate with clients regarding case status updates and procedural requirements while maintaining confidentiality.
Support litigation processes through document review, discovery management, and preparation for court proceedings.
Utilize legal research tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to enhance case strategies.
Assist with administrative tasks including data entry, filing, scheduling appointments, and managing deadlines.
Collaborate with attorneys on project management initiatives to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
Maintain a high standard of professionalism in handling sensitive information and client communications.
