Qualifications

• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple cases.
• Proficiency in Word and Excel for drafting and data management.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Paralegals specializing in Lemon Law to join our legal team. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive support in handling lemon law cases, ensuring efficient case management, thorough legal research, and effective client communication. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to consumer rights advocacy by assisting attorneys in navigating complex legal procedures related to vehicle warranty disputes. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, extensive paralegal experience, and a solid understanding of relevant legal areas including civil litigation, procedural law, and client support.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys with case preparation, including drafting legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence related to lemon law claims.
• Conduct detailed legal research on applicable statutes, regulations, and case law pertinent to lemon law and other relevant legal fields.
• Manage case files using document management systems such as iManage and PCLaw, ensuring all records are accurate, organized, and up-to-date.

Qualifications

• Paralegal certification or equivalent experience in a legal support role specializing in consumer protection or automotive law.
• Proven paralegal experience with a focus on lemon law or related civil litigation areas.
• Strong knowledge of procedural law, civil litigation support, and legal research methodologies.
• Familiarity with legal software such as PCLaw, iManage, Westlaw, LexisNexis, and document review platforms.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) for document drafting and data management.
• Effective interviewing skills coupled with strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Experience handling confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
• Knowledge of additional legal areas such as estate planning, environmental law, UCC law, landlord-tenant law, family law, securities law, tribal regulations, patent law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, immigration law, land use regulations or general & commercial litigation is considered a plus.
• Demonstrated research skills with the ability to synthesize complex legal information clearly.
