Job summary

Fox World Travel is seeking a Vacation Travel Advisor to serve leisure travelers by planning, booking, and coordinating travel arrangements. You will build lasting client relationships, respond promptly to requests, and provide expert guidance on destinations, transportation, and accommodations.

The role emphasizes sales excellence, knowledge of destinations, and use of reservation systems; a flexible schedule, occasional weekend events, and the potential for hybrid work.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of recent leisure/vacation travel booking experience at a travel agency with a proven sales track record.
• Degree in Hospitality, Travel, Tourism, Business or relevant field preferred.
• Strong sales skills and commercial awareness; ability to interact, negotiate and close deals.

Responsibilities

• Plan and sell transportation, accommodations, insurance and other travel services to leisure travelers.
• Respond to client requests for reservations quickly and courteously.
• Consult with clients to determine needs and advise on destinations, transport, dates and costs.
• Work with suppliers to ensure quality vacations and stay informed of rules and regulations.
• Provide travelers with relevant guides, maps and local information.
• Maintain high level of customer service while resolving issues promptly.
